Bega High Receives $2,000 Towards Indigenous Education

We were proud to visit Bega High School during National Reconciliation Week to present a $2,000 contribution in support of Indigenous education, as part of the Stafford’s Concrete Art Competition.

The competition invited students to get creative and think about sustainability, with winning entries to be featured on our Green Concrete truck as it travels through the region.

A big congratulations to Lilah Mortimer, who was announced as the overall winner. Lilah received a $100 gift voucher and a certificate of achievement in recognition of her talent and contribution to the competition.

It was wonderful to have representation from the Bega Local Aboriginal Land Council (Bega LALC) to support such a meaningful initiative – especially during Reconciliation Week.

Reconciliation Week is a time to reflect, connect, and create real opportunities. Backing young talent and supporting local schools is just one way we’re proud to be part of that.

We’ll be sharing more snaps and celebrating winners from other schools over the coming weeks – stay tuned.
