Ned Brown: 45 Years of Quiet Dedication Recognised at 2025 Bega Valley Business Awards
Most locals know Ned Brown – or at least, they’ve seen him around Stafford’s over the years.
He’s been part of the team since 1980, when he started on the kilns, firing clay bricks through the night shift. He’s not loud, he’s not flashy – but he’s the kind of bloke who just gets on with it.
When the old block shed needed looking after, Ned stepped in after his dad Leon ran it for 40 years. And for decades, he kept it humming – knowing every bit of gear inside and out.
These days, you’ll find him working hard in the hardware yard, still bringing the same quiet care and know-how that’s kept this place going strong for generations.
We’re proud as anything to see Ned named a finalist in the Outstanding Employee category of the 2025 Bega Valley Business Awards.
Good on ya, Ned – and good luck at the awards.
